One of the few restaurants that makes scrambled eggs just the way I like them! Sausage gravy is very good too. Friendly service and good food will have me coming back. Hours of operation are a little short 7AM to 3PM.

It is stressful to be here but I don’t care because the food is always so good. My family and I usually get pancakes here (some of the best pancakes) but this time I got a cheeseburger with bacon, onions, and jalapeño peppers. You would’ve thought it came from a burger establishment it was so delicious. The burger was juicy and huge. I’m never going back to eating pancakes for breakfast when I can have this beautiful and flavorful burger instead. If you’re dining in your service quality really depends on who’s serving you because I’ve gotten some ‘tude before.

The building and the decor tell you the place has been around a while, and the food, prices, and service tell you why. I had a seafood pasta dish and was initially surprised by how much tomato sauce it was buried in and by the size {it was two FULL meals and I'm not a small man). I dove in anyway, pleasantly surprised by how tasty it was - even the sauce, which is generally not my preference. Spices were well used and the seafood was perfectly done. The 5th star fell to the overcooked, nearly flavorless pasta, but the rest more than made up for it. Service was friendly but a little slow and chaotic. The place was slammed so I cut them a break for that, assuming they (like many places) are struggling to get servers and didn't just schedule too few. The decor was dated kitschy but pleasant. Atmosphere is typical of a family-style diner and they had no trouble accommodating our large party. And the value was remarkable. For what we got, I would have expected a larger tab. As I said at the start, there's a reason (actually several) this place maintains its popularity. I look forward to my next visit.

A solid, old-style lunch choice for us. Good sandwiches, especially the egg salad. Four stars because they have instituted a surcharge for eggs, which is MUCH more than the cost of an egg...I would rather they just raised the price of the sandwich. Definitely an older (as in seniors, at least at lunch) crowd, but the food is solid.

I’ve been eating out for breakfast because it gets me out of the house early and started on my day. I’ve experimented with a lot of places in St. Pete and have settled on Spring Garden as my go-to place. They have an extended menu, the food is consistently good, and the price is very reasonable. Portions are generous. I never feel rushed there and can linger over coffee or to fit in an extra chapter or two of the book I am reading. I wish they had avocado toast, but that is something I can easily make it home, especially now that I have sun-dried tomato olive oil with a little salt and pepper. Delicious.

Local favorite. Weekend is full house during breakfast and lunch hours. The service is good and price is friendly. I ordered the simple breakfast dishes and came out great. If you are here on St Patty's Day, will use real corned beef instead of canned for the corned beef hash.

Excellent and hot food. I was pleasantly surprised. I was with a group and one person got lentil soup. So hot she couldn't eat for a bit. Sandwiches were excellent and the greek salad. The tuna wrap was excellent. Service was friendly and efficient.
